Human Resources Generalist


Responsibilities

Summary

Plan, implement, and administer programs and policies relating to all aspects of human resources. Provide direct support to managers regarding various issues and daily HR activities. Apply business acumen and HR expertise to areas of talent acquisition, retention, training, and employee development.

  • Oversees human resources projects as assigned with a focus on process and program review and improvement
  • Day-to-day contact with employee and managers regarding various HR policies and issues
  • Generate monthly and weekly reports for assigned responsibilities and functions
  • Manage special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or related work experience in Human Resources field
  • 3-5 years experience with generalist and recruiting activities
  • Effective understanding of all applicable Federal, State, and Local employment laws and regulations
  • High degree of business maturity and agility to enable effective interaction at all levels both internally and externally
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple task effectively and meet simultaneous and changing deadlines
  • Communicate effectively using strong written and verbal communication skill with and before groups and one-on-one settings
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% of time
