Customer Service Representative II-Regulatory Filing Specialist


Responsibilities

Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is resolution of customer-impacting issues relating to Department of Motor Vehicle reporting and processing Interstate/Intrastate filings. Includes troubleshooting problems and documenting resolution.

  • Research and resolve DMV related issues, including revocation letters received by customers and errors returned by the DMV to the company. Correct as needed.
  • Process interstate, intrastate and Canadian filings.
  • Develop and maintain communicative relationships with product managers, underwriters, and marketing representatives for the purpose of exchanging information, problem solving, and persuading and/or negotiating solutions to reporting problems that affect both insureds and partner agencies.
  • Act as a resource to support the Customer Service Representative II position in their quality verification role by providing answers to complex issues and occasional back-up of duties.
  • Report Workers’ Compensation proof of coverage.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of work experience required.
  • Prior experience as a CSR is required.
  • Additional post high school education is preferred.
  • Report Workers’ Compensation proof of coverage.
  • One to two years of insurance related experience preferred.
  • Formal designations and/or insurance licenses helpful but not required.
  • Ability to read, analyze data, and interpret general business correspondence, periodicals and professional journals.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Thorough knowledge proficiency in using PC databases, spreadsheets and word processing..
